Aktion Club is a community service club organized for adults with a disability. The Special Needs Center partners with the Lewistown Kiwanis Club to sponsor this club. The mission of the group is to develop leadership skills within its membership and focus on service to our community. Various service projects that our Aktion Club has participated in includes assisting with the annual Kiwanis pancake festival, helping the local Cancer Society in their annual daffodil days, collecting & donating food items to local food banks, assisting the Historical Society with spring clean-up and visiting residents in local nursing homes to name a few.
Our business meeting is held on the first Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. We welcome new members!
Check out the fun we had at our Aktion club picnic!
